Unity Brunch s Mareenou: Eid al-Fitr a Nowruz

Občianske združenie Mareena vás pozýva na ďalšie zo série brunchov a komunitných stolovaní, počas ktorých by sme vám chceli bližšie predstaviť prácu Mareeny, členky košického tímu, dobrovoľníčky a komunity, s ktorými spolupracujeme v Košiciach.
Aprílový brunch bude o prepájaní a zjednocovaní. Tematicky ho venujeme oslavám moslimského sviatku Eid al-Fitr, ktorý symbolizuje ukončenie pôstneho obdobia počas Ramadánu a takisto spoločne s afgánskou komunitou oslávime perzský Nový Rok Nowruz. Pridajte sa na tomto podujatí k nám, spoznajte predstaviteľov cudzineckých komunít a čo je typické pre ich domácu kuchyňu. Čaká na vás dopoludnie plné milých stretnutí, ktoré pôjdu ruka v ruke s ochutnávaním výborného jedla. Lebo láska ide predsa cez žalúdok.

Mareena NGO, invites you to another event from the series of brunches and community gatherings. During these events, we would like to introduce you to the work of Mareena, meet the members and the volunteers of its team in Košice and also the communities it collaborates with.
The April brunch will focus on connection and unity. We will dedicate it to the celebration of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting period during Ramadan, and together with the Afghan community, we will also celebrate the Persian New Year, Nowruz. Join us at this event to meet representatives of foreign communities and discover what is typical of their home cuisine. You will experience a morning full of pleasant meetings, accompanied by tasting delicious food. After all, they say that love to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
